Don't Delay
Rhett Repko
Introducing independent troubadour … Rhett Repko, who with a voice in his chest and a guitar on his shoulders, has one goal – to bring his influences of timeless classics into today’s modern music scene.

In a short span of time, Annapolis, Maryland based Rhett Repko has independently built an impressive body of original music — releasing over 40 songs across EPs, albums, and singles. Repko’s punked-up approach to music-making has earned him no less than five `Top 100’ college radio hits and airplay support from 200+ College/Community Radio Stations across the USA, highlighted by a #1 single on the North American College & Community Radio (NACC) chart - a major benchmark for independent artists trying to build credibility and buzz in North America. His tracks have also been featured on television shows, landing spots with MTV, Netflix and TLC amongst several others.

Working with Grammy-nominated, RIAA Diamond Certified producer Mark Needham (The Killers, Imagine Dragons, Neon Trees) and Brit/Grammy/Novello award-winner James Sanger (Madonna, U2, Bryan Adams, Phil Collins), Rhett continues his mission to cement his place as a rising indie-rock talent. With seven million+ cumulative streams across platforms, his music is now set to reach audiences beyond the U.S., expanding to a wider global community of indie-rock fans, including in India.

DON’T DELAY (DELUXE) – a 4-track EP offers a striking glimpse into Rhett’s roaring indie-rock sound and sticky melodies, led by the Mark Needham produced single “Don’t Delay”.

Repko comments, “With ‘Don’t Delay,’ I set out to make an off-the-cuff pop song that breaks the rules — shouty verses, a bright, bouncy chorus, and a carefree energy that doesn’t overthink anything. I pictured it within a very lively concert atmosphere. The kind of song that has a simple beat, but once the band kicks in, that groove keeps rocking till the end.”

Also on the EP is the synth-heavy crowd anthem “Somewhat Famous”, the clean, catchy, and indie-pop leaning “Every Night” and a brand-new James Sanger produced song “Home Is Where Her Heart Is” which is a soon to be classic.

Says Rhett on the EP, “The `Don’t Delay (Deluxe)’ EP brings together the songs that feel most true to who I am right now. Each song shows a different layer of what I do: the shouty, rule-breaking pop energy of `Don’t Delay’, the dark, anthemic horn pulse of `Somewhat Famous’, the late-night rush and honesty of `Every Night’, and the brighter pop edge of `Home Is Where Her Heart Is’. At its heart, this EP is about taking risks, chasing real feelings, and building a world listeners can step into from the very first track.

ABOUT RHETT REPKO:

Since becoming obsessed with music as a teenager, Repko became entranced in a world of The Beatles and Nirvana - never shying away from growing his musical knowledge. After achieving a Degree in Music, he formed his first band and toured across the United States. Since starting his solo career, he’s worked with several creators at the top of their game, including 18-time Grammy-winning James Sanger (Madonna, U2, Bryan Adams, Phil Collins) and fellow Grammy-winning engineer Chris Gehringer. The new single is produced by Grammy-nominated, Diamond-certified Mark Needham (The Killers, Imagine Dragons). Rhett studied production under Alan Wonneberger at UMBC, where he earned his BA in Music, and formed his band. A mix of retro and modern techniques drives Rhett to deliver the best of both worlds. But in the end, for Rhett, “It’s about the song. Is it good enough? Does it make you feel something? It’s not about fame. It’s about the struggle to be understood. Isn’t that what music is all about?”.
